The history behind the family business…
Environmental Mechanical Equipment started with a young couple (Phil and Kay) and their desire for reaching out “The American dream”.
Phil was a Marine when started working as a salesman for Raypak Corporation, the giant boiler manufacturer back in 1974. Phil’s contribution and knowledge within the company quickly got recognized and followed by Raypak extended offer to represent and manage its own territory in Arizona.
In 1980 Phil and his wife Kay started Environmental Mechanical Equipment Inc., having their own garage as storage and center of operations, Phil doing what he knows to do best (selling and advising on Raypak products) while Kay, taking the lead on the company’s management.
Environmental Mechanical is proud to be a family own business company where every member of the family contributes in equal shares to provide a quality service to its customers. Phil and Kay’s children; Brandon and Nicholas have been involved in the company’s evolution since their childhood, and with the growing of the company, a new team of experts were required allowing Kelly Kinchen, (Phil’s brother) to join Environmental. Kelly’s knowledge and experience on the field came aboard to fulfill the growing customer list. Environmental Mechanical is now lead by Nicholas Kinchen, (Phil and Kay’s son) who follows the footsteps of his parent’s success.

For years Environmental Mechanical Equipment is being committed to support its community by raising funds for local church activities.
